What the heck have the media done wrong ? The RCMP have given us a few numbers and left everything open to speculation.

Why doesn't someone come forward and start talking about the "REAL TRUTH" so that some of us have a better idea about what is going on there. There are lots of ways to talk about things without being disrespectful.

until SAR and thr RCMP are finished the investigstion and everyone can or can not be acounted for they will not talk about numbers. numbers don't matter right now anyways, whats done is done everyone take a min a pray for those fallen and injured, and pray there are not anymore.

THE REAL TRUTH WILL COME OUT WHEN SAR HAS COMPLETED THE SEARCH
I recomend to the mods to lock out new members joining and guest viewing to keep trolling to a minimum.

I recomend to the mods to lock out new members joining and guest viewing to keep trolling to a minimum.

That defetes the purpose of a public forum... emotions are running high and not everyone is going to like what others have to say.

I pray for those who are awaiting info on loved ones, as much is this hits home for all of us in the community, they are the ones who need our prayers and support right now... To everyone involved in the ongoing rescue, please play safe and god bless...

You were fueling speculation H2S, you suggested the number of trucks in the parking lot would "get us closer to the truth" witch is B.S.

hey bud I brought it up earlier trust me......3 days before event.....and the truth sucks..but extreme conditions,80+cm new.sun baked slopes..weak layer from dec..no snow for 3 weeks to many signs.....just think about....kinda pi$$es me off when people are making it sound like it wasn't preventable......or a fluke......

you're 100% right! but have you noticed how many new members joined yesterday, makes me sick to me stomach that others FEED off of others misfortune I put them in the same class as telemarketers.

You are correct, and I agree it sucks... I'd bet 90% of the new "interested" members have little objective other than curiosity and the want to build a case against mountain sledding..... unfortunately it would be unfair to the remaining 10% to lock everyone out...

there is an obvious downside to a public forum, but in my opinion it is better than the alternative.

SAR and the RCMP are in control today. They'll have the facts. They'll release any updated facts through their own channels. There is nothing to be done now but have patience. Message board speculation at this point is a minefield.
