Going to be interest for awhile I think Rick...As you know we are a pretty tight knit group of riders and after all the bashing and trash talk on here most of us still care and worry about one another as if we were family....Condolences to the families and a Big thank you to all involved in the search and rescue.

There is going to be ALOT if interest in this....especially while we wait on numbers. Hopefully we have the final numbers, but until then....will also want to see how the seriously injured fare.......I'm sure everyone remembers the support thrown behind A certain Idaho sledder that survived a "sure thing" fatal slide......we will need to know donation sites,prayer lists, beat down the fear mongers...and the I'told ya so's....that sort of thing.....

This is an unreal heartbreaker. Sends a shiver up me thinking about it.
RIP to those who have passed on.
My condolences to all involved and to the family and friends affected by this tragedy.

Police now say two people were killed in an avalanche at a snowmobile event in British Columbia's interior this weekend, not three as initially reported during the hours immediately following the slide.

Officials also say that all of people who were missing after the slide have been accounted for.

The outcome is far more optimistic than previously expected, as it was feared that dozens of people may have trapped under a layer of thick snow.

Watch the 6:00 global tv news, edmonton(maybe other cities too), and rknight111 and smiley were interviewed..... Support for family, friends of survivors/injured/missing/deceased ........... , for avalance awareness and monies to be donated to canadian avalanche association for avalanche reports.

Thoughts and Prayers. I really hope that news of no more lost is correct. This kind of thing is truely sad and makes you think a little harder but I do belive that this brings us all together inn times of need.

Bother just got back from Revy. Thank god they decided blue lake yesterday. He says revy this morning was a very sober place. People are very quiet and just hoping for the best possible outcome. My heart goes out to all involved. My brother told me acouple of our buddies were there at the time but were not in the avy. They did help in the rescue efforts. Not a place I wish anyone to have to be. Lets all just keep the positive thoughts. As my wife always says positive thoughts can become positive things. Prayers go out to the families of the fallen and pray for the hurt for speedy recoveries. And as mentioned before have respect those whom are awaiting word of there loved ones.

I sorta laughed when I watched one of their news clips..... midway through it the riding footage they showed wasn't even from Canada. A little clip (Ervin Mckeen one) was from Utah ( Phatty Dyer at 2:07) and the other was from California ( Jacob Moren of Team Summits-Yellow XP rolling). Just goes to show how desperate they are for anything to show to the public.

Keep everyone in your prayers. Its time to band together as sledders, support those that need it. There will be plenty of time to analyze and learn from this tragedy in the future.

Just to let you know that Ervin McKeen IS from Nanton Alberta and Is one of the most knowledgable riders to that area. He was a very good person to interview in my thoughts.
