Best way to get into Jet Boating?

Good Morn. Get a kit or build your own. I did have run it over 30 years. 112 mph.

We had one of those rubber dingys for fishing when i was young. You dont really need a jet out board though. A regular one was fine in a foot of water. If it gets shallower than that you can just push it along with a padel.

Great for fishing, but pretty lame if you like to go fast.

Id be looking for an older eagle steptech, can find good deals those sometimes

Wife and I talked about it last night and we want a solid boat. Prefer a steering wheel over a tiller.

Dan, you make a good point with a short leg prop. Like you said once too shallow, get out and lift/push it

A canoe with an outboard mounted off the side works really well for utility type use.

Find an 18/19' boat with 8-12 degree bottom, fuel injected or even carb 350, Berkeley or A/T 309 pump and live happily 90% of the time.

This is a nice boat for 40g. Im not a fan of BB in this small of a boat, but its in there.
