A jack all as well makes a huge difference for bigger boats. Can jack up and put small logs under boat so it is easy to push.

K45- have you used the chainsaw winch much?

My one buddy said he's heard of people using a parachute in the current to drag a boat off a bar... Sounds fun! Anyone else heard of this?

Last fall on the Murrey River in my buddys V8 Firefish we used it a few times in one day, if it was not for that winch we would still be there ..... no not that bad
but the Chainsaw winch could pull it right across gravel bars back to the main channel with ease - made sure I always have mine in the boat now with lots of rope.
On the North Saskachewan river just make sure to have some type of anchor system as the trees are a long ways away at times.

Stuck on the NSR up from Devon 2 hours before this pic there was about 10" of water here came back in to play again and never made it 592.jpg
