Are you setup to rebuild exit shocks?

Im currently not setup for it but as someone said any good suspension shop could do it. I send back to Z Broz, usually a week or two turnaround.

Ok I need some help, Pro/cons of these two setups:

Setup #1

Fronts: Fox Float 3 Evol RC2 (Nextech)
Skid Front: Fox Float 3 (Nextech)
Skid Back: Float 3 Nextech Conversion Kit

and either a kiss coupler or a skinz arc system.

Setup # 2

Front: Raptors
Skid Front: Raptor
Skid Rear: Zbroz T-Motion Rear Coil Over Shock Conversion Kit
[h=1][/h]And either a kiss coupler or a skinz arc kit.

Ok well big shout out Curt and Tyler at Carbon Sled for all the help and taking the time to answer all my questions. I really am liking how this new shock package came together.

Front Fox 1.5 Zero Pro QS3
Center Fox 1.5 Zero Pro QS3
Rear Fox Float 3 Evol with titanium brackets and carbon fiber push rods.

Hmmm Carbon

I have the nextech kit in my 2013 XM since new, way better ride and big hit absorption. I did a ton of doubling doing sled skiing too with two 200 lbs with gear and had no problems at all, awesome unit. The only comment to have on negative at all is it does become a little tippier on trail due to missing springs on outboard edges
Well worth cost..

Got out for a few days during the last storm cycle in Revy and wow was I ever impressed with that Nextech rear shock.

I had lots of people try to talk me out of going with the air shock in the rear but so far I am glad I didn't listen lol.

The sled climbs exponentially better, ski lift is greatly reduced, controllable with out sacrificing playability and no increase in ski pressure. And the shock valving is on point, very plush.

The fronts and the middle shock performed as expected.
The QS3 is really neat, glad I got that instead of the stage 5s cause weather I realized it or not at the time, buddies definitely will not wait for you to count clicks on a pow day.

Ran 2or 3 on the trail, depending on conditions.
And ran 1 or 2 in the Alpine depending on conditions.

Rebound was set a little fast from factory but once I turned that down a couple clicks it was supper plush and ate moguls.

Bought a kiss coupler too at the time but after riding the sled and now looking at the install instructions for the kiss coupler I do not think it will be going on.

So Kiss Coupler for Sale, brand new.
Lol

I have the ace kit in my 174 but it's different than most ace kits - ordered from powerhouse customs in revvy - I have a pic in the show your xm thread near last page

and what do you think of it compared to stock? i guess the real question would be comparing it to torsion springs with decent shocks

Performance in my mind is night and Night and day no matter which option you go with.
NEXTECH, ZBroz , Baker or Raptor.

Even with a good shock in the back like an elka you are still limited by those springs.

And if you are gonna spend the $$$ on a rear shock you may as well delete the springs.
- one less thing to break.
- less weight.
- and the tmotion really comes to life.

I went with Nextech cause they are relatively local and they can rebuild or replace anything on a moment's notice should I smash something up.

It amazes me that skidoo still puts those torsion springs in, it's almost like they are throwing the aftermarket guys a bone.

I absolutely love my rear coil over setup - I also went with TSS centre mount so the torsion springs were a definite throw in the bushes

You got a link to this part, I am curious
Didn't know TSS had a kit for this and I can't find it on their website.

Thx

powerhouse customs in revvy - tell them you want the same rear setup that Laird McDougal runs - that's what I got - if you see in my pic that's not your everyday ace kit
