Smoked the fish the wife and I had caught two weeks ago.
Combo smoker/bbq is an awesome setup.

The Walmart near me had the kamado joe kettle on sale for 200 off today. Regular 699 on for 499. Pretty good deal if anyone wants to get into the charcoal game with with something "higher end"

That's not how to do it. You want to soak the chips in water then place them in a smoker Box and put the Smoker box under your grill just on top of the burners.

My friend told me about that way. Think i like my way better, but ill give it a go if i roast up some chicken or some thing.

Do you actually find they work? I bought a smoke tube too, never noticed it did much to the meat for smoke flavor. Bought a portable country smoker from UFA for $300 and not going back.

I use a smoke tube all of the time when cold smoking stuff like cheese. They work great.
