Lol. You are probably one of those guys that thinks it looks way too overdone and burnt. That's what a brisket is good for. The bark is all the flavor and then the nice tender juciness inside
LOL, you might think that. I have friends that are cooks/chefs and I can appreciate a tasty steak/ribs etc. I'm just not that cooking guy...wife either.

Well, the plan was to use the Dutch oven over the fire to slow cook this moose roast. But this wind is extremely unpleasant. So in the oven it goes.

2 cans of stout beer and onion soup mix. Here’s to hoping…

Same way my mom does chuck roasts. Low temp for hours. The onion soup mix makes it awesome and makes some good gravy

Had an eye of round roast in the freezer that was begging to be used up.

Seasoned it up with this:

Let it rest for 30 minutes to absorb the seasonings:

At 90°F internal I rotated it 180 degrees on the grill.

Turned out like this..... Cooked to 130°F internal wrapped the rested for about an hour.... Got a bit over done. Next time I'll wrap it about 5 or 10 ° cooler.

There is actually, go to your traeger dealer. The home hardware is Hinton had the sample packs.
I'll have to go see Aaron @ Adrenaline and see what he's got, will be up that way hunting in a few weeks anyways.

17.3 lbs brisket going on in 11.5 hours. Two bottles of Pendleton and a bottle of Forty Creek Nanaimo Bar should help.

Picked this up last week. Used it once and love it already. Selling the pellet grill. Got a rotisserie and a pizza stone as well. Should be set up for a long time.
