i have apple tv with two routers. One is Canadian and one ive changed the DNS to an american address, so depending on what wifi im connected to i get canadian or american content for netflix.

Canadian netflix has better movies sometimes, but american netflix and a TON of tv shows. Sons of anarchy to dangerous catch and all the stupid ones your wives will watch like wedding dress ch!t and those fat kardashian shits.

So what does the apple tv do exactly? Never been quite sure.

it makes your tv into a smart tv or "ipod", you have apps, like netflix and you tube and a bunch of others. It also allows you to watch movies off your itunes, so you can purchase them or download MP4s off the internet and put them in your itunes. Its fairly handy for the price but its not for everyone. If you a tv watcher its quite different but if you download everything because you are busy and miss your weekly shows its great.

its also great for bedrooms or kitchens. We have a 50" in the living room with satellite and an xbox for normal tv, video games, netflix.

In the bedroom we have a 32" hanging from the wall, All you need for apple tv is power. SO i have a wall mounted tv and i 3m taped my apple tv to the bottom of it and have two power chords running to the wall plug, thats it. Its so small compared to a satellite box so you dont need a stand or cable wall plates. You can litterly put a wall mount anywhere theres power and put a tv with apple tv.

Plus it works with your Itunes and streams the music from your computer plus tons of internet radio, from around the globe.. You can use your Iphone or Ipad as a remote control, or use the one supplied. If you have a 2011 and newer Macbook pro, you can also use the TV as your monitor.

The remote feature is much like the itunes remote, but you can also control all the stuff on the TV screen.

I hate anything Apple. I have an LG Smart upgrader in my moho and I am going to get another one for the basement den TV. The ol Lady has Apple TV on her upstairs TV for Netflix...but I don't think she has any idea the other features this thing has.

got my jailbroken apple tv 2 a few weeks ago n i'm impressed,,i will get the gsp fight this weekend,so itll already have paid for its self in under a month..im really hopin that when supercross is gettin coverage on cbs i can stream it live that night and not have to wait till the next mornin..have they jailbroken the apple 3 yet cuso??

some of the guys at work recently picked up a GBOX jail broken for $200 each. 1080p and it has 4GB of storage on the unit plus it has like 4 usb ports so you can use a cordless keybord and it also has a card reader. sounds too good to be true lol

not sure i didnt jailbreak it i just bought it off a local guy that does it and i asked what the difference was and thats what he said,,he might have said more but i was rattled by all the channels and options this had..

I have been checking also. I think they are having problems with it, the guy says he has no time because he is busy at work...

I am in the middle of renos, so I have no time anyways to watch the tube.Powderslut, looks like it is all and more than what is expected...
Hopefully when it gets out I will have time to watch it. I heard that 720 is mostly what you get on TV anyways.. is this true??
