Also, you use a relay so the full current of the circuit isnt going through your switch. They are pretty simple to wire.

A friend of ours got a National planetary cv truck for ripping around in...
Alot like this but he did a baja race truck box on the back...

They added a 12" life kit so the tall military heavy off road tires fit... The planetary diffs are a must...

There are 3 versions too choose from...

Slow speed off off road...

Mid gear for military slab and off road...

Heavy planetary slab for the long haul... vvv
There rated for xxx speeds all day and all night...

The trick is too either add a double double or a 1 and a 1/2...

Do a double drop box ahead of the t case for bull bull low...

Never touch the throttle in bull low or the drive shaft or diffs will explode...

Feather clutch at all times and never reverse the gears backwards with 66 or 127.000 lbs,,, diffs dont do well in reverse mode...

10 tons in reverse mode is asking alot from diffs,,, always forward with clutch slippage...

Good times for sure...

For sure, they give you a ton of gear reduction. Another friend has Unimog diffs on a Toyota. Those are cool too, cause they give you the reduction, plus they
are portals so the give you more clearance. And they aren't nearly as heavy as rockwells.

6x6 and 8x8 sows are street legal,,, they get good milage even though there 40.000 lbs...

4.5 or 9 mpg if your tapping it kool on the throttle,,, we think of them as extra large jeeps...

It's nice go in too retrieve push cats and track hoes quagmire in swamps...

40 + ton jeep with a few winches too fetch and retrieve... lol

Snagging 480.000 lbs up side down in a river requires time...

The old service rig was standing stright-up and down in the battle river,,, we tugged it out whole...

$9 million dollars of junk by the time it got loaded out...

And the driver survived,,, lucky indeed

$12 k of pure glory,,, go light-weigth and go with the all season or snow tracks...

I hit lots of areas threw-out Western Canada with beast...

Chatter creek,,, revy,,, golden,,, shoeswap,,, Ferrnie and all over Alberta...

They won't go where sleds go,,, but they will tractor cut-lines all day long...

The trick is pinning it...

They rock the foot hills

There are places where they don't work...
My jeep filled in on those areas...

Lol
