That Pidd is worth it , I didn’t think it was till I used it this year
I can record my rips and where ,i will never get lost when going
into new places when it’s socked in looking for that nice low place that’s under
the clouds on heavy days
it’s kinda worth it
it also shows where u can pull a short cut on the trail down here and there ur sure the trail is gona show up in front of u

So does every GPS. If someone already owns a quality GPS or uses an app which is more detailed than the PIDD it’s a $1000 speedometer.

We use the Garmin Montana touchscreen model on our Doo's. Makes a nothing day into a great day. We have our riding areas mapped out and always get to them and back safely. I just don't understand why more guys don't do it but hey more untouched for us.

Same with my rino so many days people complaining at cabin and we ride by drop in a few times then nice and clear, i wouldbt feel comfortable riding without it and the mount i have i like aswell but the idea of the pidd i like because its a bit bigger, but at 1000 bucks its hard to decide upon

There is no topo or landmark info on it for one reason. Can you load Caribou closure areas on it?

I use a Rino like many others. Not leaving that at home. Many people also have GPS apps on their phone, and carry a locator like a Inreach which also has mapping capabilities. So why spend money on something they don’t need?

It’s fine you like it, it suits your needs but it’s not the ultimate add on accessory that someone can’t go without. Especially at the cost being it’s basically %5 of the sled price when you add it on. That’s fairly significant.

Ya true it not a must ,but it’s dam cool to me
I can look down and see lines I just put down 1K away and cut through trees I have not ever been in to know
I will come out on a previous line and top or place I have seen already
it’s kinda fun
each to there own but it’s only money and u can’t take it with u when ur gone ,so spend some of it on a sled is what I do. Lol

Been on skidoo for last several years currently have a 17 850 154x3 but kinda tired of the skidoo bs. Thinking its time to try something dif has anybody got to try the khaos yet it kinda caught my eye. Looking at the 155x2.6 but dont no much about polaris and no one in the crew had the new 850 to get the new feel of the polaris 850 motor.

I hope you pulled the trigger and ordered one....i did get some seat time on one and once returning I ordered one my self......the suspension changes are great along with actual adjustments that you can feel in just a click or two...I have a 19 850 pro 163 3" now and the adjustments polaris has made in the motor is noticeable as well thru the full throttle range....Khaos is a riot to ride will help all levels of riders and put a huge smile on advanced/pro riders alike

The 2020 programming is available as a second ECU update for the 2019 850's,.. there was a bulletin released.

I have 2 Axys with PIID and 2 with base gauge . The PIID is nice you can change the setup, has day and night mode, you can scan if you have a CEL gives you the P code and descriptor, easier to see RPM for setting up clutching. The GPS on them is basically useless for mountain riding though no topo and can’t zoom
and move like ski tracker or Inreach. I mean it is better then nothing but very little use in mountain riding and Definitely shouldn’t be something you relied on but great for trails. I use my inreach or ski tracker on my phone don’t even bother ever looking at the one on PIID
