Another Avalanche!!

Calgary herald is reporting another avalanche this afternoon (January 2nd) involving another 2 skiers in the Pemberton BC area. Search and rescue has been called

according to the current bulletins I get, risks have dropped from High to considerable and moderate in the revy, glacier and columbia regions. still be careful no matter where you go obviously

I wouldn't bail on your trip after what I saw this weekend, but evaluate and use caution and you will be fine

It doesn't mean you can't ride in the backcountry right now...you just have to get educated and be smart about it. Or hire a guide...
