Just curious as to how much Companys out there are paying for advertising online or in newspapers per month , per year? How big is the Ad?, and where it is advertised? as well as what is included?

thats a broad question......
most companies would use a percentage of sales depending on the industry it varies drasticaly to small companies spending nothing and big ones spending 20% or more of sales,, then divide that over print, radio, the net etc etc.,... it gets huge
a full page add in the sun is a $1000..... a centre spread is $5000....
we are doing a catfish add right now,, those annoyong pop ups lol,, on calgary herald home page or logo pops up for 4 days linking our site and thats $2000.
advertising on the net is probably the most complicated and potential to waste money but its necasary for sure.
so why you ask?

I Came up with an Idea that i think there is Potential. Ideally it could potentially be a Game Changer.
Website linked to your City/Town/County.
With Adspace for -Buisiness/Jobspace/VenueSpace Including Rating system where you can either Write a Review or give a rating 1-5 Scale Of the Buisiness/Employer/or Venue Location.
Buisiness Adspace would run $100/YR For the Attached Area and would link to Company Website as well as Show Buisiness Information when you Scroll over the Image.
JobSpace Would run $20/Mth For Twice the size and would be Linked to Careers Email address
Venue Space would Run $25/Mth and would link To your Webpage or Location to Buy Tickets. Twice the Size of Image.
The Website that has all these adds would Come up as a Top website in google Search results.
Ie. Search "Morinville" It would show up near the top of the first page on google.
