Maybe you cant vote them out. But the people that belong to the band can. They do hold elections on reserves for Chief and council.

And those crooked thieves (cheif) are the best they could find to run their reserve not saying much about them!!!

Its no different than if you live in Edmonton you cant go to Calgary and vote in the civic election. And also natives could not vote in a federal or provincial election till 1967.

If you live on a rez you stood not be able to vote cuz they do not recognize Canada as their country well the land yes the government no. The city, provincial and the federal governments all make money and help eachother out and they are ACCOUNTABLE to eachother!

And i agree the people on the rez and off have to help themselves but we are all not poor drunk indians. Like many people view us and a lot have taken the steps to change. And that is the point im trying to make. Society also must change as to how they view us.

When your people change society will change. But for people to look at them as normal before they change is just insanity! And normal I do not mean culture I mean leaches that don't help them selves and blame others for their short Cummings! So don't take it as a hit on you !

Why because i am a native and people see that first. They do not see me as hard working, tax paying Canadian.

Because people don't see very mean hard working smart non alcoholic natives. But they see reserves natives drinking mouthwash, and 1.5 trillion dollars of their money going to support them. Once agen not all natives are bad just what people see!

We all know that a lot of the reserves do not put their money to good use. But in reality its no different then the elected officials in our government. Redford for example wasted money on the Olympics and lets not forget the whole fighter jet fiascal. And why the hell do we keep sending millions to Africa its a continent not a country and there is a lot of wealthy countries there. So when we send money to Africa where does it go? Instead of getting pissed off at the natives how about start asking the government to open all their books. Politicians are always to generous spending our hard earned tax dollars and wasting it.
