Specs say 2800lbs I was looking at alum but it was considerably more money and in a 7 wide I would need to go 23 ft which weighed 2200lbs so for 600lbs I can save about 6k

Made the deal for 7K. Im happy and he is even washing it for to pick up tomorrow.

But i have one problem. My equalizer bars clamps wont fit on the tongue. The clamp that the chains snap into wont go over the C channel as there is another piece of C channel coming down on top of it at an angle. I was told a trailer shop will cut them up and weld them on but wanted to know if there was a chain clamp for this type of trailer tongue.

Here is a pic of the trailer tongue. How do I mount the sway bar brackets?

Either bolt your chain hooks on the bottom channel or weld chain hooks on. I don't see what the issue is.

I guess i need different chain hooks then as the one i have drop on over top of the channel and bolt on. Where is a good trailer shop to pick up a set.

Bought the hitch from a bud not a shop.
