I could care less about cwd. The test is probably about as good at the pcr for the flu. If I shoot it, I eat it. That’s my opinion. It’s funny the zones that you had to test your heads have dropped it and are moving west, after the mass slaughter has taken place of course to get the deer numbers next to non existent.

It was my last day to hunt so headed out to some land im allowed to hunt in 348.
Went back to my spot sat down sat for 4 hours and it was chilly but seen nothing. So back to my sons camp jump in the truck and head to some more land seen a hige buck at 900 yards well damn lol. Not its getting late and this guy came out put im doen with the 270 at 20 yards.

My favorite of all the rifles I've owned.
Lots of energy for normal hunting out to 500 yards without crazy meat damage up close.

I increased the curing salt based on weight.
As well I had 4lbs pork and just shy of 7 elk.
Also added 600 grams of no melt cheddar.
I'll smoke them tomorrow after they rest tonight.
