they were grooming it on saturday. big trailer rigs were parked at bottom main parking and the ride up for the first 3km or so you hit a few rocks, not that bad though. Most of us went past the main turn off to the next left turn off the highway and drove up to the next parking lot about 2 km up...if that makes any sense lol

Boulder is an ungroomed nightmare as of this moment. Frisby groomed but very poorly - cat is only running the blade and a mini packer on the back which results in the trail starting with whoops in the morning which of course is a bad start point. They need to run a tiller or a mogul master to have a shot at a decent trail.

first 3km are pretty rocky, hopefully a good dump pushes parking down to the lot soon.

Probably not enough snow for a tiller yet. Rookie cat operators probably too, gotta get some seat.

Saw the groomer at Frisby had a catastrophic failure last night so they won’t be charging at the booth until they can get another snow cat in to replace it

Ouch, I know the pain of broken down groomers.

We retrieved one in that situation waaaaay up North...

The company went broke once the retrieved bill was paid and the machine was scrapped...

Flooded the cab and electrical crap,,, it digested water into the engine before it hydo locked...

The recovery bill was well over the $100 k mark...

And pepole wounder why used snow cats don't hold there value... lol
