the zone in my pic has 7500 feet of elevation change....
K so you're a lucky dude and maybe you buy a sw or doo 850T or a cat or poo with a blower...
I still suspect that most riders likely do not and likely spend the day "playing" within an elevation range of probably 1500' ....just saying

As for elevation, NL is definitely not as high as Rockies but Rockies are not as high as Himalayas ....still fun either way. Favourite riding is in the tight trees on sides of the hills in picture which are deceptively steep....so lighter nimbler sled is preferred ....
maybe Caper can show us how to do it on a 137" × 1.25" - cant wait!

I'll probably still get a NA sled, but at 9000feet you can feel the lack of power big time and a turbo would be great for that.

your Polaris will still make it up there though

btw. mostly riding in the selkirks and monashee mountain ranges. not the rockies.

Sure at 9k T is definitely a plus / necessity.... at sealevel to 2500' prefer lighter ...
2021 lower gearing is an easy update .... surprised still no tether or toeloop fix ....

on boulder you can start riding from 2km past the booth and change elevation AL day. so suck it lol

if you were to leave from boulder parking lot, back to turbo, down kirk up creek up the back side of turtle, through turtle drop down the front side and back to the truck how much elevation change you figure that is in a day????,?

So this thread is supposed to be about the 2021 Polaris. I hope its okay to talk about 2022?? I believe the Matryx chassis and a Series 9 track is coming. They are replacing the 2.6" with a 2.75 Series 8 but really, most people like the Series 6 track more than the Series 7 so I expect the Series 7 will definitely be going.

Do you even ride, bro? I was hoping you would be out in the hills with buddies, sampling every variation and model of sled out there and giving us your conclusions.

Someone get Dan a couple hours on a Khaos 155, couple hours on a Axys 174 850, couple hours on a Axys 163x2.6 850, couple hours on a 850 turbSki 165, couple hours on a 850 165 expert, couple hours on a 163 alpha. Then get him in front of a camera and post that on the youtubes.

It's straight up embarrassing how wide the Doo is at the footwells and how wide the running boards are, total waste of space.

If you look how deep the tunnel is by the footwells I think they are planning for a longer belt drive for 22. Hopefully 7 tooth 3.5” pitch drivers.

Back to having a footwell. I wonder if the secondary is that far back now?
