Hakuna Matata, no worries, its a problem free philosophy and the most fun you will ever have on a sled Shawn.
enjoy the build, it will be better then any 2024 out there in so many ways.
Yeah glad I pulled the trigger on a low mile sidewinder mtx.

I’d bet they sell more outboard motors in North America than ALL brand snowmobile sales around the world.
Haha you're probably correct... the people doing the release should be STOKED to even have a job in the snowmobile division there.

The retro SRX looks good, but really a pointless release.

I totally get the trail sleds with Yamaha motor and clutching. They do work very well and are high milers without worrying about the engine. I don’t get the mountain max at all, I guess they sell enough for it to make sense.

Not sure why they can’t still offer the sidewinder mtx as a snow check. Easy enough for cat to build and not anything different. Sidewinder mtx from my understanding is done in Europe also now.

Maybe Yamaha it transitioning to get away from combustion engines slowly. Makes sense if they are selling off the power products etc division as that’s got to be a money maker.

I never got him out in 2020/1, however I did in 2021/2 for a few days with my kids so that was great. I will try to get him out later in the spring here this year. I'm headed to Revy for tomorrow morning, first trip for me this year.

They do still offer the MTX over in Europe so they still make them. Not sure why we cant get access to them.

Nice Josh, you made the front cover of Muskokas latest.
Looks like you were first one up the gash??
Too bad I couldn't make it.

You bet! was a fun day, had a oil leak on day 2 that got my machine full of oil and couldn't get my belt to quit slipping.
Was awesome meeting you Josh! You’ll have to get with Chris and Sheldon next season and make a trip down to North Idaho.
