its a 2009 258! love the boat. Unfortunately the previous owner neglected it so ive had to put some serious time into repairs but its forced me to learn how all of the systems operate which is a good thing. Good bones but essentially any time something broke he didn't repair it. Gauges, plumbing, pumps, bilges, blowers, wiring etc.

have to redo the brakes on the trailer too, wanted to switch from surge to electric but ive been told Surge is law in BC for boats this size due to salt water being able to get into the drums of the boat trailer

Surge are a PITA for backing up but otherwise they work well.

Looks like it's in awesome shape, mechanically things can add up quickly if you don't get on them right away. I need to put a bladder inside my existing fresh water tank and figure out why my dash lights quit.... it's always something. You'll love the boat and once each little thing is fixed they should be good for years to come.

The iboats.com forum is awesome for info and how-too's, lots of knowledgeable folks with WAY more patients than me.... it's not as "social" as this forum but great for info and problem solving.
