Catmando 2024 Bike Rides and Pics.

We had a group of 7 machines do a loop in the South Kootenays. My C109, my wife and sister on Shadow Areos, my BIL and his Vaquero, my nephew on his Vulcan, my friend and his wife on his Voyager, and my cousin on his brand new BMW (nice machine!).
My wifes first long trip on her bike. So proud of her! she did really well!
Stayed in Cochrane, Golden, Nelson (2 nights, beach day!), Cranbrook and Cochrane again on the way back.

Season is comming to an end, havnt posted much but getting in lots of miles and rides. Got a ride set up for wednesday and that will likely be the final hot day, then hit and miss till the sleds come out . Here’s a few pics from the last couple months . Will post tomorrow’s ride pics!

You made it to Cynthia, the Cyn Bin. I never got more than 1 ride in this season, will have to run some of that formula you have through my bike prior to winter. Still stuck in Jasper, and will be here till next year by how many sites we are on,

I left Cynthia at 3:15. Lake isle at 3:50 to meet my roofer.

I think this idea makes the most sense, would hate for the fuel to go bad, or seals to dry up and it to start leaking or something

Well another year gone, No where near the kilometres this year as usual but a solid 8800 k with only one trip out of town! Washed my bike , cleaned my lift. Put my bike on it, tore down the lift and covered the bike. She’s Hybernation time people and all i can say to that is BRAPPP!

I usually try to ride till Halloween at the end of the month. I think we may get in some more miles yet. But yes, sledding is really close now.

I didn't get as much time in the saddle this year as I had hoped. Maybe year! I helped the boy (well I did most of it) get his bike ready for the shed over the winter. There isn't enough room for both of ours in the garage over the winter!

Season over for us here as well. After the ride to Tuk and AK I only rode the Africa Twin a couple more times around here, put about 1200 kms on the HD and never threw a leg over the 450X all season. Put everything away yesterday and pulled the batteries for the ones in cold storage.

No big plans for 2025, will probably do Dawson City for D2D next June. Boys want to do a Grande Cache weekend with the dual sports.
