This thing absolutely stinks and it's got a huge mouse nest in it. So I've got some work ahead of me to clean it up. But I started tonight.Sounds like you guys will make good use of the new place

it's sitting open in the sun right now, when we get home from Calgary on Sunday I'm going to get back at it...... I really liked your idea of the rug doctor, and my dad suggested throwing laundry soap into my pressure washer and giving it a good soak down that way too.......That thing is so much nicer than the one we looked at last night..... she will clean up nice
my dad thinks it may actually have been squirrels, regardless, I'll get it all cleaned up.Mice suck but you should be able to get er real nice again

Make sure there's nothing up left of the nest or animals up in the stringers under the floor. Usually there are drain holes between the bulkheads that allow flow directly back to the transom and into the bilge pump. If those drain holes get plugged with nest material, it will hold water in the bulkheads and rot them.Spent the evening with the shop vac and garden hose and got the mess cleaned up. Then took the boat to Hughes car wash and used the soap setting there on the entire interior and exterior then rinsed it. It's made a HUGE difference already. Took it to my parents to show it to them and dad and I have a game plan to fix the soft spots in the floor and replace the carpet. Should be looking great for next season!
Update.... Got the boat on the water..... It's not running right. Hammer down and she won't make power. Throw it in neutral she runs right up to 5000 rpm but in gear it won't break 1500..... It's back up for sale on Facebook and Kijiji.Spent the evening with the shop vac and garden hose and got the mess cleaned up. It's got new plugs and new power packs. Carbs are cleaned now. New fuel. New fuel filters. Don't know what it is. So gonna try to recoup some of the money I dumped on it and have purchased something newer that I've test driven from a buddy
I've already bought something else, soooooo it's up for sale.Had a similar problem with our two stroke...it was a small tear in the diaphragm of the fuel pump.
