My uncle got his moose last night.
Called it in to 15 yards and it dropped 30 yards later.
Actually stopped and looked back after the shot when I kept calling.
Rut must be full on as I'm just an average caller.
We got out of bush at 2AM.
Deboned where it dropped.
What a workout!
Cut and wrap tomorrow.
Once I get my cow at farm all relatives should be happy.

Slick Trics 100g 1"dia.
Not a fan of expendables.
They work but these fly just as good and no enery wasted to open blades.
Expendables are two blade and these are 4.
Have never lost a critter with slick trics.
They ALL work if the animal angle is good and the shot is true.

Where did you purchase. Went to Cabelas site and didn't see them.

Beats me, I skin and debone where they drop.
Don't have to gut the animal, just a couple small cuts to get tenderloins out.
Just a tube full of guts with no legs on when I'm done.
Broke a rib on the way in and one rib the way out - upper lung entry to opposing lower lung exit.
Moose expired in about 15-20 seconds.
This was from about a 60# draw weight at 15yds.
I have no idea how fast his Mathew shoots - 270ish???
