Picked up my linq gas can today. Bought the powder freaks adapter at the sled show. Looked at the polaris belt holder but didn’t feel like paying $40 so gonna try something else. Keep the pics coming.

I’m going to put my belt on the belt cover.
There is a couple of slots there that I’m going to thread some Velcro strips and store my belt here.

I thought about doing the same but was worried about heat from the pipe so was gonna ride it first to see how hot it gets. Might be ok with the heat shield.

I have 5000+ miles on 3 different ascenders with the belt stored here and never had any issues with melting. Actually keeps quite cool, have always just used zip ties to secure it through the slots, was Leary at first as well but have yet to have a zip tie start to melt let alone the belt. Good to go here works great

Three things.
1. Anyone bragging about 7500kms+ in one year is obviously an award winning trail rider.
2. Trail riding matters in ......um......nowhere.
3. Don’t personally attack Kanedog or interrupt her mushroom trip..um......ever.

The sled been out since Feb. 2017? You should have picked out the clutch problems then. But you didn’t. Before I put any serious brain effort in the 4 year wondersled, I have put 100kms and pointed out a multi million dollar recall/liability issue in one week. Where were you? Puttin on 7500km of trail riding thinking everything hunky Dorey aok? Wake up dude. U ain’t as smart as u fantasize u r.
The above are my beliefs.

Kanedog you are becoming that annoying dog that barks all night and chits on the neighbors lawn, be a good dog and learn some new tricks. Erik quit feeding the stray dog and he won’t crap on your lawn. Now back to topic or you will end up in the pound.

yeah I didn’t want to buy the holder, but I’m looking to store my belt, tool pouch, plugs, saw on that bracket. Trying to eliminate the need to a rear tunnel storage bag. I think I’ll be good now with the rest of the storage that comes on the sled.

I was looking at those powder freaks adaptors. They come with rivets to mount to tunnel? I think I would bolt them. They look nice and clean.

Thats this mornings project. I’m going to ditch the stock tunnel bag and get the linq right behind the seat. Don’t like the extra weight behind rear arm bolt.

I have carried one there for over 2000km with no issues.

Same with others that run out of the same dealership as me.

I doubt you will see any issues.

I can’t see having issues either,on my TM1000 the pipe was a lot closer to the belt on cover than this sled and I never had a issue with that.

Makes a guy wonder why they ditched the mount for the spare belt. I was thinking about sticking mine there as well, but now I'm second guessing.

Should be carrying a spare clutch not a belt!

2 zip ties and forget about it.

This isn't an 850.....

If your running a can I think you get way more heat on the other side anyways.
