And the smart buyer doesn’t pay list for anything and the ones that do don’t care about the resale discount because of holdover discounts.

Besides, are you not one of the Ram haters? So there is no reason to be concerned.

Not concerned at all. Just find it interesting that if the Fiat products are so desirable, why is it that they’re constantly highly discounted in order for people to buy them? Even the new 2019 Fiat 1500 trucks had an immediate $13k discount as they hit the showrooms. The prices for comparable trucks between the big 3 are usually within a few grand of each other, until Fiat puts the big discounts on to move their products. GM and ford outsell Fiat year after year without the big discounts. I wonder why?

I'm a partial to Ram trucks myself, but I can get just as big of a discount on a GM or Ford as I can on a Ram. I've purchased each in the last few years (we let our senior guys pick the truck they like) and have gotten similarly spec'd trucks for very similar prices, all at large discounts from MSRP.

You sure??? My brother got a new gm diesel for 0% and 15k off about a year ago. Imo GM has the better financing.
If guys are buying there ford and GM trucks close to sticker than thats nuts.

Based on my experience, Fiat will almost always drop 20% quickly and then you can maneuver from there. Ford and GM will only come close to that at the end of the year on leftover stuff that hasn’t sold, and even then they rarely get to 20% off of MSRP. And I’ve never seen them offer a “free” Diesel engine like Fiat does. Maybe that makes Fiat buyers better consumers than the rest of us but it still makes me wonder why a supposedly superior product needs to be discounted so heavily yet still sells fewer units.

I think you like to only see what you want to see. It’s like you are almost insulted that Fiat owns Chrysler. It’s not like FCA is building the Ram trucks in Italy though many would argue their quality over their is better than NA. As far as sales go, are you talking mid size? Heavy duty? Without any facts to substantiate your claims it’s just your opinion.

Does Ford F series sell a lot of trucks? Sure does though F series is a large range of models from the F150 through the F750. There is a lot of grey in many of the sales numbers they produce. I do believe their fleet sales are a large portion of their sales units though and well those are far from sticker price.

GM? Well takes two models, the Sierra and Silverado to subsidize the sales of the rest of GM’s truck line up in the kinda compact kinda mid size Colorado and Canyon.

Honestly I don’t know how I get to work daily in such an inferior product.

And holy fawk wasn’t basically every instock 2018 GM up to %25 recently? Take your blinders off. Took me two seconds to find multiple dealers 19-25% off GM trucks.

Go to a GM dealership and see what they have for 2018’s left for sale. Probably not much you’d want to drive. Ford does this too, trying to flog the old stock that hasn’t sold. No manufacturers have built a 2018 truck since late June or so. So these fantastic deals are on a half ton truck that’s been sitting for 7 months. And neither of them will offer that deal on a HD diesel pickup, unlike Fiat.

Just step away from the keyboard.

Again this time I think it took a little longer. But less than a minute to prove you wrong. Once again.

One dealer, who I have dealt with in Calgary 341 2018 trucks in stock. Doesn’t seem like a lack of inventory.

Then again to prove you wrong, no lack of Diesel HD’s and up to %20 off maybe more. I am not looking to purchase a new truck right now but I am sure I could do even better on a comparable truck.

Thats a great deal for you but the guys that already own the same truck just took a 10k haircut on the value of their truck. Only fiat discounts their trucks like that.

Wasn’t even a FIAT discount, the Free diesel portion was but the other $11k was a UFA fleet discount that share holders have access to

Every brand thread turns out like this and I love reading them lol Started out as a new model release chat
Buy what you want and drive it. If you like it, buy another. Bull****ting brands in-person between friends is expected, on a forum arguing about stats and prices on paper and its basically entertainment for other members IMO

You make yourself sound even stupider every time you post. I just bought a new truck in September and priced Ram, GM and Ford. Was going to buy a gas 3/4 ton and ended up buying a '19 Chev with a Duramax for the same difference as the Ram dealer wanted for a 6.4L gas. Wasn't stripped for options either. LTZ w/ leather, nav and sunroof. The Ford, which was a F250 Platinum was in between the two. So this BS about Fiat having to discount heavier than everyone else is a complete and utter fabrication by yourself.

You're one of the amazing people that always gets a way better deal than everyone else, but never gives the details....I'm sure your truck gets 40+mpg too....

Ya you can get 20% off the truck doesent matter what brand it is you just need to have some negotiating skills and a understanting of how the system works. I payed $71,500 for a POS 2018 ram 3500 dually mega cab with every option you can get brand new, the year before I payed $68,500 on a High Country 3500 Dually with every option. This year I payed $81,500 for a 2018 F-450 had to trade the ram because they wouldn't fix the issues.

Story of why the ram is a piece of garbage. Rear end made a horrible noise so bad people could not even sit in the rear seat in my truck made numerous trips to the dealership changed countless parts still didn't fix the issue FCA Canada responded with this is normal for this truck ya sure it is. Also the front headlight gap was 3 times what it should be on one side of the truck again ram said this is normal dually fenders where starting to pull away from the body ram said they would look into it but I was told that this is not a warranty item. This truck was a 2018 with 25,000 k on it so ram could come out with a flying truck and I would not go anywhere near it. It is a shame because I do really like the trucks and this new one looks awesome but with the way FCA treated my first case I wont be ever purchasing a Fiat product again. Just thought I would share my story.
