Rode Groundhog East today, was untouched this morning about 2ft of powder on some harder stuff, base was softer close to the trail head and got firmer the farther west you went. Probed about 2.3meters snow. Pretty tracked out by the end of the day

If you know how firm the base is it's hard to believe that there was 2' of pow on top of it. 2' is a huge storm. Full reload.

Rode Allen Saturday with a bunch of guys.had to go quite far back to find snow.we did find some fresh but the hills are in desperate need of a reload.always a good time in the hills though and it was sunny so can't complain.

Had been closed because of caribou for like a month until yesterday so just accumulated over time I guess

rode with dgjordon and catmandoo and a few others on sat, yes in a need of fresh re-load, but if you look you can still find areas that are worth playing in. as curtis usually says get of the beaten path and look. the re-load will help for its needed, but ant day riding is worth it

Winter returned to the alpine! On Monday the high country received around 20cms of new snow and if the current forecast holds, there may be a bit more coming before the weekend arrives. The upcoming weekend looks to be full of sunshine and warm temperatures. All access trails are in amazing shape and the groomer fleet is hitting trails as needed. It’s a great time to get away to RideValemount.

Had a great day in Chappell yesterday. 8 inches in the parking lot and 2 to 2. 5 feet up top. Some wind blown at the back but that just meant some deeper pocket of snow in other spots. Blue bird day so snow was getting a little sticky on south facing slopes. Trail in was great, thanks again Varda for top notch trails.
