Filled my mule buck tag last Saturday.

Well with many hours of sitting and waiting finally had a buck get out in front of me other than the one I let my daughter shoot. Nothing big but now off to Saskatchewan for a week to look for a good one!

I'd say there's some whitetail genes in that one somewhere.

Took about 2 hours of stalking this fella yesterday morning.

Season drawing to a close.
Arrowed a 3X3 whitetail at my uncles by Onoway last weekend.
18yd shot out of tree stand ad it fell over in about 30yds.

Took this week off and shot my Camp Wainwright cow moose today.
About 90yd with 50cal black powder, one shot to the base of head and zero tracking required.

Still have my cow elk tag for the farm to Dec 20 but unless some friends from work want to come out I will let that tag slide.
Between geese and big game have put about 850# of deboned meat in freezers.........should last to next year split between the 4 of us.
