UPDATE December 03

Just got off the phone with Hot Rod:

Belle and Lucille have seen fresh snow amounts of 10"-30" !!!! More to come tonight and tomorrow!!!

Lucille will be groomed tomorow.

Renshaw: With a bit more snow Rod will start grooming Renshaw pretty quick here! Due to filling a bunch of ditches with snow he needs about 36" off snow at kilometer 21, currently there is about 30".

So a bit more, hopefully that'll happen by the end of tomorrow. Will keep you guys updated!

Hope that helps guys, safe sledding!!!

Just talked to Hotrod and he will be starting to build the Renshaw trail, usually takes 2-3 days depending on the hazards. As you know Belle and Lucielle are open. He got a report back from some riders there was up to 40" at the cabin area. But yea a pic or two would be nice to confirm. And also heard thru the grapevine an old aquantance of ours CR500 bit the toolies heading up the Renshaw trail!!! Care to provide any details Dave? Higgins.

Yep.... Had a blonde moment, not sure what the hell I was thinking, hoping that was the dumb move of the season out of the way. Drove straight off the trail , pulled a Hot Rod you might say, ( remember the groomer incident?) . Minor damage, brake lever and switches, Snelly helped me get back on the trail and was still able to ride though. Probed 30" around cabin, propane tank was still half exposed and is empty. Had a porcupine chew thru the ceiling of the cabin that needs repair, Snelly took pics of the cabin damage. Was snowing off and on, hopefully there will enough for the ride in 2 weeks. I'd post pics but keep having issues with size of file and ain't techie enough to figure it out. You going to be out anytime soon JC?
