Weekends only right now as they are hauling. The rain hammered the snow, I was working up there yesterday and probed 32cm by the road.Is Tommy open?
Still hunting season for daughter and I so have not been keeping up on here.
Did it rain all the way up to the alpine?Weekends only right now as they are hauling. The rain hammered the snow, I was working up there yesterday and probed 32cm by the road.
Not sure but it has rained all week. Plan on heading up there tomorrow to check.Did it rain all the way up to the alpine?
Is the hood sealed up well with silicone on all joints? Could be a leak letting snow in and eating a crank bearing on a deep pow day.I’m not sure what I’m gonna do with it yet I still have 5 sleds but this one is a favourite
My truck was acting up on the trip as well so that’s priority
I have the intake guard and all the bolts in it’s sealed up my guess is the new top end on an old bottom end. I wiggled the clutch and pieces started falling off the cases so I think I need a whole engine. Let’s get back to the conditions im curious how the snow is this weekendIs the hood sealed up well with silicone on all joints? Could be a leak letting snow in and eating a crank bearing on a deep pow day.
Added pictures from same post above .For those wondering about the Renshaw bridge, it's been pulled out.

It's been brought to our attention that folks haven't been playing by the rules and are causing the logging company some grief up there. Radios are a must and you need to call up and down. There's no riding up there during the week, that's Monday-Friday no riding up there. Good to ride on weekends only, that's Saturday and Sunday, until further notice. It's still only decks or single axle trailers until further notice due to the limited parking at the moment. The groomer has been moved up there but until we get more snow it sits.
This being a new zone, realize we are still trying to figure out how to make it work while still having active logging up there. Remember, this is brand new, it's undeveloped so the trails haven't been marked or properly mapped yet. The trails on our map are only a basic guideline. There's no groomed trail to the alpine. Those who are unfamiliar with the area should probably wait until there's more snow and those that know the area have punched the trails into the alpine which usually happens after xmas provided we get the snow.
We know it's not ideal right now but once things get figured out it will be great. We are working to get some temporary signage up there soon to help direct you in the right direction. We also have a schedule from the logging company for the xmas holidays and are meeting with them this coming week to confirm it, once that's done we will post it.
Keep an eye out for updates here and on our website sledmcbride
