Ok What in the F is this abortion?????
Come on Yamaha, do better. Gotta be a way to get rid of the 10lbs of farmer engineered garbage!!

Its strong and vertical. I bet there are not much for options to get vertical steering with the engine position.
Even if it does weigh 10, totally worth it in my eyes.

No doubt it's strong but come on. There has to be a better way.
I'm sure someone will figure it out. Rest of the sled looks deadly!!

Guys over on SnoWest are saying the MPI kit can be bumped to 240hp pretty easy with a program and a head shim?? I'm new to the Yammy 4 strokes; but that seems like the same kind of bump the 1100T's have been getting with a Speedwerx or Evo kit since 2012. Not sure how much is involved in pulling a 4 stroke head but I think 240hp in the new SRV would be a sweet ride, and I just happen to be buying a new sled in the fall.

Sweet colour choices! My favourite engine! A good chassis! Just add a 270hp turbo and I think I will add this to my stable. Now just to pick a colour.......

It won't be that easy. They can not get 240 hp out of stock injectors and they currently use a dobeck fuel controller and no rising rate fuel pressure regulator. Not sure how they are going to get any more power from that tiny turbo, especially at elevation where the turbo pressure ratio is increased and needs to work much harder.
I know we sell turbo kits, and this is not my intention here, but people really need to do their homework before they run out and get a cheap turbo kit and expect it to do something it never will.
I know a guy that has ridden a Viper with an MPI kit, and was given two at a very special deal and he still bought 3 kits from us.
After riding ours he said "absolutely no comparison"

If the sled handles as nice as the 1100t i rode I would be satified with the 180hp mpi as long as i have full warranty still. Dont look like they offer the 3 year with the mpi setup?. blue orange definately.

I wouldn't even mess with a 190 kit....I went down that road already, just spend the cash for a good High Output Kit, or 240 kit from the start, its the cheaper way to go in the long run...:twocents:
I agree Clode, we have made a living from selling extra injector kits to four stroke turbo guys. We have sold over 250 fuel kits in the last 4 years to Powderlites, Impulse, Alpine, MPI, and MCX 190 guys.
I rode our kit at 8 lbs on pump gas against an MPI 190 kit a couple weeks ago. It is night and day difference.
We use extra injectors, properly sized turbo for elevation, water to air intercooler, and rising rate fuel pressure regulator. From what I can tell we are 3k more than an MPI kit, so it's really a much better deal for the performance diff. If you want more power with ours, then dump in some race gas and turn it up. Can't do that with the MPI or MCX low boost kits.

Yeah; I kind of figured something like that.....you get what you pay for I guess. Thanx for the heads up. If a guy wants more than the 180hp Yammy is offering; and has the extra cash the Boost It kit is the way to go. I'll be in contact with you before I make any final decisions if I decide to pull the trigger on an SRV.

It sure would have been nice to see the apex motor back in a mountain chassis. All in all this was one of the better line up releases in years.

Basically get what you pay for that tiny turbo is all that is needed for the average person to bring it up a level. Looks like the wife is getting a new sled next year as long as Brp does not come out with something similar.

The biggest difference between our kits and everyone else's, is that our kits have to meet our standards...and they are pretty darn high.
Anyone that has seen our stuff run knows that it rips, and the kits we sell are the exact same as what we ride.
We also ride in the same mountains that our customers ride in and know what works.
Our service is also second to none because we are the manufacturers. We know the kits inside and out and ride them every weekend. Warranty and service is quick and easy too because all parts are in stock in central Alberta.
Plenty of people have bought cheap turbo kits in the past thinking how bad can they be...well it can be pretty bad when they don't run and the dealer has no idea how to make them run.

Ya but.....ah never mind!!!!! I think WE should build 2 of them. You can get the Oilers edition and have first pick on all the parts to build it; then still finish last and stand at the bottom of the hill scratching your head and telling yourself next year will be better.

HA HA.
Don't worry, someone will buy a red one and make a Flamers edition and take away the oilers first loser's spot so they can't even win that LOL!

I wouldn't even consider a MPI Turbo on the SC plan... Like I said earlier you can put your hard earned dollars to something that is going to perform and put a smile on this kids face!!! As for the chassis I like it... totally what I was expecting and was already expecting to spend $7k (Installed) of a proper turbo system for my application and where I ride... so winner winner chicken dinner!!!
