sat the snow conditions were great,sunday the rain made the snow crappy ,very wet and if you hit tracks from day before very hard, raining on sunday making the snow drop drastic, also heard slides happening,not near us so dont know excact location but do know there were slides.anybody going up watch terrain and conditions,

Rode Clemina yesterday. Snow is very wet and heavy. Stucks turn into epic stucks. Going to chappel today I'll let you know when we get back however with the very mild conditions and moisture in the air the snow condition isn't looking promising. Lots of untracked areas to had though.

Rode Chappell today. All the common areas are pounded out. We found a corner and pounded it out all day. If you look you may find fresh stuff. Snow is heavy!!!! Lots of stucks all day. Skies opened up in late afternoon and it was great. Trail was in rough shape and slushy. A groomed trail wont last long with this mild temp.

Just talked to one of my riding buddies that is out there right now. They rode Allen Creek. Said snow is fairly wet and heavy but had a good day and not to much trouble finding fresh to ride.

Pretty much. We left a bunch of fresh in the bowl from first pic. We also left some fresh on the way to the last bowl (before the long side hill). We didnt have to go to the end to find fresh. But it was a solid packed trail to n up Super Bowl. It really needs a good dump though.

Clemina today was ok......very crusty on most aspects and elevations. If you can find high, protected, northerly aspects you could find some decent snow and the riding was good. Beautiful blue sky day and the clear weather looks to continue for the weekend.

Temps have cooled off somewhat and the trails should start to set up better.


On another note, how are people posting pics with a mac? I do not know how to get them small enough for this site.....

Open up Preview, find your photo, hit tools, adjust size, then change resolution to 72. That should make it small enough.. Then save.. Then I hit file, and export to a different folder specifically for uploading pics like this. as far as i know you have to do all this to your designated pics before posting.. Either this or use a photo bucket type of system.
