Snow has hit ground level again this morning, not sure how much dropped uptop .
Unloading at 10 km , you will still have a bit of gravel patches but not much .

I dont think I would bring an enclosed to 10km.

If you have some weight on your truck maybe. There are still some icy and snowy sections from 8.5 to 10km that may cause issue for larger rigs.

People are parking at the 10km pit and then riding 200m of gravel to the snow line.

I should have some better info tomorrow night but thats how is at this time.

Keyhole has decent access as well. Just drive up to the snow line and unload.

Just curious how the access and snow conditions seem to be holding up after the weekend. We are hoping to get one last trip in next weekend.

Very spring like out there although thats not necessarily a bad thing...

We are staging at about 11km in Clemina right now and riding solid snow from there.

Keyhole just drive up till you find the snowline. The last report from the area was positive.

Decks and small two places are highly recommended. Leave the 40 footers at home folks.

A group visited Small on Saturday. Access was ok...long drive in and melting fast.

Clemina is always my choice for a simple access spring ride.

Planning on riding this weekend... Looking like a Clemina type weekend. Unless I can coax the boys into riding some dirt lol

In Clemina today. Couple inches of sticky fresh . Went up through Dixon. In the upper bowls above 2200m we found 8-10" of actual powder. Made for a great bluebird day. Trail melted a lot during the day. Will probably be parking past 13km after tommorow.

Well....what was supposed to be a blue bird day preceded with much anticipation, ended up being less than stellar weather wise. The sun never fully came out to warm up the snow and conditions remained extremely icy and slippery.

After a group decision not to climb due to the slippery conditions, we said fawk that and went for it anyway. We ended up having a sick day and I even bagged a first assent!

Stoke to be able to do this stuff with good friends. Check below to the video link to some of the shenanigans.

It saddens me a bit to say that this may just have been my last ride of the year as I am heading down to a week of meetings with the Canadian Avalanche Association.

It was quite the year for Frozen Pirate as we trained many people in avalanche Safety, developed new riders skills, guided sledders into some amazing terrain and just simply enjoyed the mountains and ripped with good friends.

I cannot end the season without again giving a shout out and Thank You these sick groups for supporting Frozen Pirate this season.

Thanks everyone. Ride Safe

Nice vid Curtis! Thanks to you and the other folks out there for everything you doo for the sledding community. I had another fantastic year of sledding there other than the fact I wish I could have gone more.
Also a big shout out to Terry and Lisa at Summit River Lodge. Always a good time. Some days just hurt more than others.
