Horsetheif fsr is not to bad, a little icy. Forster fsr hasn't been plowed or sanded since Christmas so it's narrow and icy. When it starts to warm up its going to be a mess.
Guys are still getting 4place enclosed trailers up to 19km. The lower lot before the bridge was cleared out last week so it's usable again.

Trail is getting groomed tonight. Busy weekend, Close to 125 sleds on Saturday alone.

fyi- use caution sledding up onto Caramount. Lots of sleds in both directions Saturday. One long line- not sure what happened, but for several hours there was commotion on the final pitch with 20+ jammed up...

I was told the sled that was heli lifted out was a casualty of the million dollar rock at the bottom of the last pull to the glacier.
Been there done that with my m7 but I limped it out on one ski... That rock has claimed many sleds.

Anyone got a picture of this million dollar rock and the slope that pulls peeps into it?

No but it's on the third climb to get onto the glacier. It comes into play when coming down, mostly when riders don't make the pull, turn out and come down out of control.

I made the mistake of trying to climb it in a white out, hit a bomb hole at the top and got bucked off. Sled rolled a couple times, righted itself and straight-lined into the rock.

of note special avalanche conditions....brewer/rp are high risk. Silent is always nice for a meadow skip...but conditions change constantly so keep up to date when it’s time to make the call!

Brewer was really good last week, no precipitation since then.
Forster had another 20cms today, it is getting more snow than anywhere lately.
Been lots of traffic up Rocky point way this year.

Good day. In cut blocks objects are waiting for you. Today about a foot of snow above crust after that you go to bottom. You have to keep speed up. Had great time today got a sun burn. Watch the sun come up. Be safe.
