Well I’m a Phazer fan, always have been… watched my dad and grandpa ride them when I was a kid so I’ve found a project sled. It’s almost complete but needs some love… motor is locked up and it looks like it took a hit to the front bumper/nose cone/pipe area…

Rest of the sled is in decent shape so it shouldn’t be too bad to find what I need.

After the Bung Bung I’ll get elbow deep into it!

The phaser was awesome back in the day. I had a 91 136” and a 93 phaser 136”. 1 5/8” plastic paddles. Aaen pipe. Made our drop brackets for the rear skid. We stayed at the Peaks back then and hire them to guide us. Taught us flat landers how to set up our sleds. Got to know them really good, Waldy was our favourite guide and we would give him a phaser to ride as his sled was always broke down. Our phasers would lay a whooping on the liquid cooled sleds.

Looking like it’s missing a few parts…

the front bumper and hood hinges for start and then a front nose cone.

I was thinking EBay?

Anyone got an AEAN pipe laying around?

Might need a parts sled… can’t have too many lol

dug into her a bit tonight… pulled the pistons, filled the bottom end with atf and diesel… got the crank rolling free and smooth! Big win

Pistons and bores look good, need gaskets and ill put it back together.

Acquire a few body pieces and away we go!

A quick stop at Mots and Riverside…

181$ later and I have a new belt, top end gasket kit, 2 needle bearings, one wrist pin

Should be able to assemble and run!
