Unless you like to work on it and have extra cash laying I personally would just drive it till it starts to give trouble. Run good fuel and good mineral injection oil and keep an eye on the fan belt condition as mentioned

If it's stolen and has a police statement it should be in CPIC and you can check that on your phone right there at the unit or have them give you the s number over thenphone and check it before you drive there. If it don't come up then the police should never care when you get stopped

Not sure why, but once its tore apart and the new bushings installed it sure will be greasable.

I run a 2011 crew, the unit has 4500km on it. 25% of that has been trail with skag, another 25% road and field/ditches, and remaining 50% tight tree log infested quad trails. Run tracks two winters also. Havent had one mechanical issue but I see some play in the swing arm bushings now. No issues...
