I checked in to see what issues people might be having with the full size Ranger 800.
Nothing to read.
Nice.

I run a 2011 crew, the unit has 4500km on it. 25% of that has been trail with skag, another 25% road and field/ditches, and remaining 50% tight tree log infested quad trails. Run tracks two winters also. Havent had one mechanical issue but I see some play in the swing arm bushings now. No issues with mine and from what I see if you want to go fast and rip SH*! up then probably not for you. But if you want to get to destination and back with family, pets, fishing and hunting gear all packed in nicely then it may be a good fit. And yes the 900's are even better from what I have had a chance to see.
My dad picked up a midsize 800 ranger last year and that dam thing has impressed everyone with how good it goes, the only complaint my dad has is the ranger brake pad rattle drives him nuts, but other than that 2000 trouble free miles so far.
We put a 2 inch in dads and it made a world of difference, I believe we used the super atv one and it was just a block that sits on top of the strut not in the spring and it still rides like it did factory just sits higher. then the rear was a actual lift with a brace that goes across the back and lowers the shocks. The 800 mid size is a rocket! The only minor down side is the struts up front. That's only an issue if you plan on lifting it.

How many miles on avg do the 800's go before any major issues come up? I know it depends how it's used and stuff, but assuming it's not been badly abused and even mildly maintained.
What's a good price for one?
