Took a run over Middle Kootenay today. Gate is still closed so we had to find a way around. Went to the flathead, and put some miles on. Not very nice snow on the castle mountain side. Icy and very thin. Over the pass snow was nice. Still only good for trail riding. We need a couple more...
Good ol boot stompin tom. I still have that on 8 track, and an 8 track player, and a sled similiar to the ones in the video..... I really feel old right now.
Pretty sure the problem is not a lack of snow. Lack of oxygen haha, or maybe just lack of wisdom. If you can't back numbers up, don't post them. With a thousand bucks on the line, I would think you could find a way to weigh your sled. At least Captain Undies gives some credible and useful info.
I've been waiting to post on here till I had an issue. Well it finally happened. I started loosing RPM while climbing. Belt still looked good, but put my spare belt on and problem solved. I can't believe it. 1000kms and second time I had to open my clutch cover. First time was to change...
I think Arctic cat came out with a very nice looking 2 stroker Rev/XP/Pro rmk. Now it doesn't matter what you buy. There all the same. Pick the best dealer near you, and you can't go wrong. If you want the big 4 stroke, they just might have the edge now.
I just thought I would post this pic up. It's from yesterday, March 4 after about 90 cm of new snow. At the bottom of the ski tracks is two snowmobiles. One is stuck, and four guys trying to dig it out. I would have told them off, but I'm not stopping there.
See, I told you they were stand up guys. Maybe next time someone has a problem they can grow a set and actually address it with Ryan or Tyler, instead of coming on here and trying to bad mouth them. Of course that's just my opinion.
My etec definitely pulls harder than my 09. Both 163's. The 09 had a dynaport pipe and Y - pipe. That means it should have had 160hp. In any case the etec pulls harder. I guess there not too far out saying 163.
The 06 was better than the 05, but still a vibrating monster. Lots of issues with them. They can be made to work. Since you have a choice, buy something else. Polaris quit making them, because they couldn't make it work. The guys who still have them will tell you they like them. The guys...
So first of all, Ryan and Tyler are avid sledders. When I talked with Ryan about the handling of my new etec, he knew exactly what I was talking about. There prices are similar to the old Mr R's. They have never shown me any bad attitude ever. Quite the opposite actually. The guy who thew...
We used to head down the U.S. side, till we got to Polebridge. We'd buy gas and a 6 pack, and head back. We did stop at customs to report, but there was no one there. That was a long time ago. I sure wouldn't take that chance nowadays.
Maybe a new guage package. It could include a lap record function and top rpms, and egts. Kinda like the one we're suppose to have already this year according to my operator manual.
Yes this is West Castle, but the first thing I thought of when I saw it was the question if anyone remembers why the warm up shelter was built. I guess I could have started a new thread. In any case, the avy danger is surprisingly high right now. Not a lot of snow, but some very unstable layers
Reminder
That very same hill you refer to came down again Sunday. Most snowmobilers avoid it, and use a trail lower down to get around it. This time it took out the lower trail in a couple places as well. That's where the second pic was taken. It was triggered by a skier. In the last 4...
