It’s probably in there as a flash back diode to protect the circuit. When the starter is disengaged it may create its own voltage back into the circuit as it freewheels to a stop.
They did change the throttle block from the 18’. It seems to have a little stiffer pull than the 18’. I hope they keep the throttle block like the 18’ it’s a little easier to finesse.
Easy 500km put on each machine so far in 2 days. No problems no belt issues or track wearing concerns that I could see at the end of the day today.
Only thing that was a problem was the permagrin after the riders come back.
