The Ultramax XS (I think thats what the model number is) has been good to me, but not much cheaper. I think they are around $90 from Royal Distributing, probably some dealers on here that would match that. I don't know if you can get cheap belts, and I would be scared to try them if you could...

I thought you had an M8 according to your info..?? Do you mean are the odometers digital, or are they in KPH or MPH?? They are digital, and you can change between.

If you are running just a y-pipe and a can, no controller needed. As far as a pipe goes, there are different stages(levels) of pipes. I'm lead to believe that if you have a very basic pipe then you should be alright without a controller, but as soon as you start getting into the performance...
