These threads get me so fired up! The link that the one guy posted about the farmer who is charged with shooting a guys who was stealing his quad really pisses me off. That poor farmer should get a medal and not charges. Our criminal system is a joke. I'm with that one guy who said we should...
If my buddy was'nt wanting to go riding next weekend I would probably go direct through avid. Dusty from snowmobile recyclers was saying he might be able to find me a set so we will see what happens. He seems like a really good guy. I can't say that the guy from tracks canada was all that...
tried tracks canada they were around 400 with gst. What gives with avid drivers? Does avid charge distributers what they charge us or is everyone that sells them trying to shake us down. I understand everyone has to make there money but the dollar is good so I would expect that the drivers...
skip the hood mounts and and by two hood straps instead. When spring hits unlatch the hood staps and stash your hood somewhere and you get some poor man venting.
I have to agree as well. A track is the most underated mod you can do to your sled. I have an 07 xrs and the difference in going from a 151 challenger light to a 162 powdermax was night and day. Hopefully the switch to a 174 well be another step up as well. Anyone that has went the camo extreme...
Prism powdercoating in Prince george had my suspension arms done in tow days. The owner(smoky) is great to deal with I would highly recomend him. Check out his sight at prismpowder.net.
I am a little tight for time to get them from avid as I want to have my buddy riding by next weekend. I think I paid 297 from avid with shipping then had to pay around 50 for hst from the post office. I was hoping someone had them for a fairly comparable price somewhere in bc or alberta.
How much snow do you figure the microwave has in total? I just did a bunch of work to
Clayton's sled(summit clay) so he was saying that he was maybe gonna try out the mic tomorrow before he went to work.
Hey did you get up riding over the weekend? I seen those pics you posted. I looks like the snow might have been a little hard though eh. Keep me posted I am so pumped to get out diggin. Thanks.
Actually I just got a new boss seat today with all the upgrades and they are pretty nice. The zippers are waterproof and really beefy. I don't think they will have zipper problems this year. I think the $50 for a new cover would be well spent.
Daryl is going to try working in smithers for a while. I actually just talked to him last night. We had a guy that was going to try firing up a dealer in town but it is pretty tough to get the credit line. It's too bad because he would have been a great guy to have running a doo dealer. I am...
You bet the gear ratio is damn near identical and it is easier on chain with the 20 top. I find having the bigger bottom seems to prolong belt life as well. I rarely blow a belt. With my 162 I settled on 19/47, so with a 151 I bet the 20 will work pretty well.
Be carefull moving your skid back. Anytime I have done than my sled rode like crap and was sprung pretty stiff. You would probably be best buying a set of rails or extensions. You would have to move your 144 skid a long ways back to take up the slack. I agree with your call on the 7 tooth...
