last what kind of chain should i be getting. i dont know whats one it and i havent opened up my case. dont want to. there are some good sized metal flacks that stick to dipstick. kinda scared to lol

Thanks ahead of time

Just an option to consider as well, changing one tooth on the small gear is like changing 3 on the large. Most people change the small gear as it is cheaper. Also the chain now has a sharper angle to turn when lowering the small gear tooth count.

Jeremy you shoud try 20/47 I think you would have pretty good luck with that combo. You can run a 74 link chain with that combo but it is a little tight at first. I personally like to run two big gear instead of two smaller ones.

You bet the gear ratio is damn near identical and it is easier on chain with the 20 top. I find having the bigger bottom seems to prolong belt life as well. I rarely blow a belt. With my 162 I settled on 19/47, so with a 151 I bet the 20 will work pretty well.
