WhyTF would he have to speed up, if he is still faster than the guy he is passing???
Just because you're behind and going 2 kms/hr faster than him

It's called overtaking or passing, not dawdling alongside for 10 minutes causing delay of faster traffic behind you. It is sure easy to tell who actually has to drive further than 10 minutes in the city everyday.
At any rate another S&M thread going full retard, I'm out.

Seriously. You speed up and slow down just to piss people off. And think its funny.
Please re read

If I'm passing someone, I am not going to speed up, so you can get around me. I'm holding my speed, until I'm done passing and then moving over.

Please learn how to drive. If you are going to overtake someone - you do it in the most efficient means possible - and as fast as safely possible. You do a dick move by 'slowly' passing someone and YOU are the liability. Most of the people I see do this have no sense of traffic and conditions around them,

Sure is fun phucking with people though...

Isn't it illegal to exceed the speed limit even when passing ? I'm pretty sure I got a ticket for that back in the seventies lol
It is illegal but also totally illogical. Laws like that are made for the lowest of the driving population, Use your brain and look in the mirror - if you have 3 people behind you and you are not passing at a good rate - let them by - don't play games and endanger everybody else.

Are you referring to a 2 lane or a 4 lane? In a 2 lane situation, you are correct. In a 4 line situation, you need to retake your driving course.

Man if people would just have a little courtesy for others instead of this righteous AH attitude of "I have every right to do what ever the Fawk I feel like doing " it would really cut people's stress when driving. If you can see your holding up traffic with your pos mini van that can't do over 107 then stay out of the passing lane! If your doing 110.375 kph and passing somebody doing 110.370 kph then do everybody a solid and speed up a tad, why not? Do you really feel your more important than the 8 people behind you trying to go 115 or 120? Come on !

so you're saying the 8 people breaking the law are more important than me or anyone that chooses to travel at the speed limit? what really are you gaining (or losing) by having to wait 30 seconds or so before you make the pass?

I love these discussions heh heh

I am going to ask Bad Brad with NASCAR. This .370 and .375 speed difference on the Vegas track is a difference of .002 seconds in speed. He will have the answer or rub someone into the wall.

I think all they were saying is common sense and courtesy goes a long way.....doesn't seem like rocket science....does it??

If I see a guy come up behind me....I try and make it easy for him to go by....I have no idea why he is in a hurry....maybe it is a family emergency??....or maybe he just likes to drive fast.....you just never know....why try and hold him up and cause stress to everybody involved??

Again, a little bit of courtesy goes a long way

I don't intentionally hold them up, but I don't go out of my way to get out of theirs.
