No appreciable damage to the sled he touched - an 05 Rev.
and it's all in the "bump"....this sled, '98 T-Cat, came ghosting down the hill at 50+ mph and broadsided a '99 powder special. the whole front end of the T-Cat was toast, the only damage to the Powder Special was the plastic trim on the side of the bellypan. it's all in the rub

BC Government Set To Take Legal Action Against BRP
The BC Government today announced it will take legal action against BRP in the ongoing “Pinecone Dispute”. The allegations as presented by BC’s ministry of natural resources state that BRP was knowingly negligent in their design, and the natural occurring pinecones in the area are truly the victims here. He goes on to say the repeated minor scuffing of pinecones due to impact with BRP’s “Summit” product could have being overlooked, but BRP went “over the line” with their latest counter measure of burning any pinecone that comes in contact with the “XP”.
When contacted BRP referred us to their “crack” legal team of “ The Looter, TheNewfieBullet & Goldstein Barristers and Solicitors” who said: they will make every effort to have the case transferred to the Newfunland “High” Court, as finding un-by-ars-da jury members in the west could prove “fruitless”.

Did you know Ski-Doo is outfitting all their new REV XP models with PCDS(Pine Cone Detection Systems). The PCDS will beep whenever the sled gets within 50 ft. of a pine cone, beeping faster and faster the closer the sleds gets. Once the sleds gets within 20 ft. of a pine cone, the crankshaft will self destruct to prevent any damage to the REV XP chassis.

thats funny i read somewhere else this PCDS system was to keep people away from pinecones who cant ride there sleds. it will be standard feature on all cats/yamis and polaris. option on skidoo since most skidooriders can ride in the trees and or near pinecones

truth....the bars on the ski doo are functional, on and off the throttle. not like a yamaha waverunner/snowmobile that needs power to steer. gravity > yamaha

Looking good bud !

Did'nt know they made NOMEX sled gear.

.
required for atmospheric re-entry.

edit: it was crashnburn....he has single handedly dispersed the pine cone rumors, as it seems to be his mission to hit all of them, still on the tree or not
