There is no stopper on the back of the heim joint like on the factory one. I was playing around with it and I don't think its possible to over extend it front to back. I didn't look at it super close but the whole assembly just wont allow enough movement to make that stopper necessary I don't think. I guess we will see for sure once it gets some time on the snow but im not too worried about it.

I had a 2012 that came right out of the crate and got the running boards hacked off to put Skinz Airframes on. That was a tough cut to make! Never regretted it though.

That lift is on at Princess Auto for $169 right now.

Thinking I might go pick one up.

Grabbed 2 lifts the other day, they also have the 4 wheel rolling dollys on sale for $30 and they are good quality.

Cant go wrong with either.

Depends on the mod.
If you put in a belt drive, and your motor calves, or your track busts, then you should still be covered.
The engine warranty should be honoured if they cannot prove the mod caused the damage.

After the sled show, just wondering on the opinion for turbo kits for the XM.
I like the Silber, very CLEAN kit and price is good. Id like to see a Bully dog tuner next year for the XM.. wonder if it is in the works?
TSS... amazing guys and results with their kits / or the aerocharger

If u google the Silber kits you won't find to many happy customers. They are not pull and to and require mechanical knowledge to set up and Keep running. That's why they are cheaper. Also the nickname for this particular kit is slobber cause that's how they run

Well ill definitely look into the silber more to hear feedback. Thanks for the info! I trust the guys at TSS. A couple guys I rode with last year had the 872 kit and seemed top notch. No extra work or tinkering.

If you want a turbo and all your worried about is price ( which one is cheapest ) then a turbo is not what you wants . You get what you pay for !!

This!! ^

the Micku's get their TSS turbos dialed! Buddy of mine is throwing instaboost on his '14 xm and TSS will be doing all the work and after the sleds done he gets to go to sicamous and the micku's said they'd show him how to set it up and dial it in. If that's not getting what you pay for I dunno what is. Spending a lil extra to ride with no worries afterwards is more worth it (to me anyways) then to spend money on sled trips just to wrench all day.

I jst did the exact same. 14 freeride dropped off last week and everything taken care of 100%. Otherwise I woulda been buyin a kit, then figuring out what to do with the install, then finally finding someone to tune. To much screwing around. Enough positive responses on the TSS kit that got me into. Worth the extra money forsure.

Finished up some mods today, the Grip N Rip braces are in and look good. One tip.... buy some good allen keys for the rear brace screws. (I broke one off in the screw :() But over all I am happy with them and I can see the strength the braces will add.

And the best part....

And the RPM Composite skid plate.... Wow, this skid plate is beautiful. Raffi at RPM did a great job, its fit and finish is amazing, all holes to bolt it up were bang on. The part that impressed me the most was how perfectly formed the 3 plates were and how much protection it gives to the front cooler. It fits around the Grip N Rip braces like a glove, what else can I say.... Its amazing !

RPM Composites

The first 4 pics are of the install and not bolted together fully, the last 2 are fully installed and the panels sit nice and flush together, no gaps at all.

Where did you get those from

The Grip N Rip braces came from 2Kool Performance , I found they were the best place in canada to buy from. They were the same price as ordering right from Grip N Rip but included shipping with no customs charges and came fast. Check out Grip N Rip for more info. The skid plate came from Rpm Composites I had about a 3 week wait from time of order to delivers, but it was soooo worth it.
