What are you guys doing with the adjuster on the 911 cover? Not real impressed. Have a call into 911 for tomorrow.
Will doo. My stock cover was just starting to fail.Report back when you find out wtf is up. I got one in the box ready to go on.
@Kanedog could probably answer this question.I have my dealer doing the install so he called and asked what the deal was. I feel it’s not necessary either. But I knew Snowandmud would have some answers.

To bad cyber bullying chased him off.
Talked with thunder and they say it’s fine to run without the adjuster and machine threads off if needed. They were unaware of the ascender chassis being narrowed.

I wouldn’t, better to lathe it. Don’t want it to wobble like a doo....Is grinder/zip disc considered machining?

Good to go now. Indy dan is going to start making covers also as he is starting to put the cat primary’s on 850 Polaris’s. He loves the Cat clutch.
https://www.snowest.com/forum/threa...-cat-team-roller-bearing-drive-clutch.453331/Why the difference between the Cat and Polaris clutch? I’m sure if Indy is making parts it’ll be good.
So was going to get my buddy to machine the threads off of the 911 long sleeved jam nut and without test fitting where should I get him to burn it off? I was thinking right where the threads end. Or is that too much?
Also do I really need to peel the clutch off to remove the stock jam nut and install the 911 one or can I do it still on the crank?
We just machined the threads off.
Not to be nosey but shouldnt those cover bolts be a grade 8 and not a grade 5? Asking for a friend lolGood to go now. Indy dan is going to start making covers also as he is starting to put the cat primary’s on 850 Polaris’s. He loves the Cat clutch.
