Not sure on the comet but on the P85 you can just leave it off .
It’s just to adjust for belt wear which most will never do anyway.

Kanedog 2015-2019, thanks for the good times S&M!
@Kanedog could probably answer this question.
To bad cyber bullying chased him off.

Haha, Lemme read the posts would ya? Stand by

I have a Team roller primary with 911 cover so I’ll have a look tommorro. Thunder products would be best to call.

I think my friend left the adjuster off on his 2020.

Naked, warm and ripped to go check now. Haha

Talked with thunder and they say it’s fine to run without the adjuster and machine threads off if needed. They were unaware of the ascender chassis being narrowed.

Problem solved! Weird timing this came up cuz he was gonna cut/machine the end off also. All good in the hood when it doesn’t rub. Maybe they could make an option with no adjuster for the Alpher options. I bet they would machine the end if requested.

Good to go now. Indy dan is going to start making covers also as he is starting to put the cat primary’s on 850 Polaris’s. He loves the Cat clutch.

Why the difference between the Cat and Polaris clutch? I’m sure if Indy is making parts it’ll be good.

So was going to get my buddy to machine the threads off of the 911 long sleeved jam nut and without test fitting where should I get him to burn it off? I was thinking right where the threads end. Or is that too much?

Also do I really need to peel the clutch off to remove the stock jam nut and install the 911 one or can I do it still on the crank?
