Winter is here

Staying up at the hill in Silver Star. Just snowed for about 1 minute - bout 5 degrees up here right now. Rain washed it away before I could jump out of hot tub and get pick.

Boy - if we get snow this year like the rain we are getting here this summer - it is gonna be epic.


We never said it was easy, just that it looked cool.

For the last couple of years (and the last two years have been epic snow years), the weather seemed to change after the long weekend in August. It felt like the heat of summer was over.

When I stepped outside this morning, I got that same feeling! There was a certain chill in the air, a feeling like summer or the high heat of summer is over. It is only a week away from the August long weekend!!

Might be the first clue to another epic season in the beautiful mountains of BC!
