Comparing Weibo the Bashaw farmer to Ludwig is ridiculous. Weibo used a high-powered huntring rifle with intent to kill. The Bashaw farmer used a small shotgun with light shot with the intent to stop the thieves(he shot him in the leg.) Weibo shot a 16 year old girl. The Bashaw farmer shot a 35 year old MAN. The KIDS were joyriding, he shot her before even making an attempt to stop them. The thieves ran when told to stop.

Are we forgetting that Weibo set bombs on oil sites? Thankfully no one was hurt by these, but it could have been much worse than it was.

Is this what we are coming to? If I don't like that there is a wal-mart in my town i am allowed to bomb it and people will support me? Did you people support Osame Bin Laden to? Hitler didn't agree Jewish people's religion so was it okay for him to kill them? Both those guys took a stand to.

so stealing a $10 quad is a killing offence, and running over kids or tearing up a guys yard is good to go, atta boy no harm done. like to see that in action. nothing other than self defense justifies shooingt a gun, of any sort. period.

so wiebo or whoever took the shot, was aiming for the mirror, the girl came up for air, at that moment, wasn't intentional, wasn't aiming at anyone. you are serious right? so what is the diff between what you posted and what happened out at hythe. y our not going to hurt anyone but your going to start shootin just in case someone may have a gun? put the gun away, ya have to be prepared to use it, better yet leave it in the house, never seen a burgular or thief having a gun and neither did knight out at bawlf, he should have gotten 10 yrs. period.

Pretty sure Knight was being run down with his own property when he shot the theives, didn't he block them in his driveway at the time? Totally different scenario, not even comparable, small gauge with bird shot, not a choice killing weapon. Self defence. Guy in Langdon was found NOT GUILTY when crooks broke into his home and he killed one. Self defence. Shooting someone joyriding on your front lawn with a high powered rifle? having a hard time buying that one....

Even without a gun, you gonna let someone walk in your house and take your stuff? If someone threatens your life you better be willing to defend yourself at all costs if you want to live, regardless of the weapon they are carrying (if they are even carrying one). They don't even need a gun, lots of people have been beaten to death.........
