Proud to be a member of both WNR and GBCA... best of both worlds! North of the liquor store about 3 kms. And yes have the number in the store, but use Old Man Winters number because he has a much larger discount... J/K...

Hopefully I can make it out a few times this winter with you'se guys

It works out that I get a ride in about every second day, sometimes every day...or night. Could use a few more riding buddies nearby!

Last years first ride from the homestead with Uptown, Zackattack, and a few more not on here.

Hey, do any of you GBCA members like to swill various fermented liquids (drink) whilst sitting near a toxic fume, heat and light radiating, carbon ignition source (fire)? Do you like to consume dead cooked 4 legged milk making animals (steak)? Maybe you like to practice your rural language form of speech (redneck), or tell lies and stories about all the big jumps and hills you never conquered (Bench racing) or how many hundreds of hp's you can get out of your grand daddy's super secret special tonic volatile fuel elixir (Downright lie). Maybe you like all this stuff? Maybe you like to even participate in exploring personal transport conveyance devices (ummm, ride your sled). Maybe your interested in a Jet nozzle titanium firepit that burns an average of 40 ish pallets in an evening? Well then, If you like, then I think you'd enjoy one of Meatbags pallet bonfire parties. It's a place where many things can and do happen. :ignore:
It's been said that copious amounts (Lots) of liquids have been seen there, even jello shots and dare I say...cake? Yes, it is a good time. If your interested in attending the next one let me know.
Here's some pics of the last one...

I live on the westend can I be an honorary member that looks like a plain old good time. I'm not much bigger than a hobbit so how much trouble could I cause?

Snow in the forcast for the GBCA.... might get a ride & a fire in this weekend...

Apparently 8:30am sunday is NOT too early to meet for trail clearing and rig mat skidding up at Stanger hills... I agreed before I knew what time...

I bought my first house at Sandy Beach (lake front) in 95, does this make me an alumni or was I too far off the beaten path???
It was some good sledding out there then, from my house to, Morinville. big red barn, Alberta Beach, beach corner LC, Gunn, Onaway for a gas and go trip, or just punching it North through Alexander.

Those are long rides. I used to go into Alexander, just off Sandy(mud hole now). I tried to stay away from (cough cough) Onaway but got to Alta Beach sometimes.
As far as Alumni I think we'd have to have a...meeting, yes, a meeting to umm, discuss this matter. A matter of most importance, with beverages of course. Maybe snacks, Picture Snydely Whiplash twirling his moustache saying "Meyessss" while eying a bottle of Capn' Morgans Spiced rum (M-35). Lol

My old 97 Summit was a great sled, and a very high miler when I sold it. She also made many a trip to Vale and McBride. I sold in 2000, when the mud hole still had water in it, and seen it in 02 after it depleted :yikes: I was also out there for the first numb bum (my 2nd year riding for Riverside)
A meeting with you and Snydely might be arranged, as far as the Cap't goes..... love the stuff, but make me go a bit wild. If you know what I mean ;) I'll have a Crown, Gibbies, Kokanee, or Tea at the meeting :beerchug:

We have a cabin at sandy on the big side. Sold the boat and seadoos years ago. Tired of all the weeds. Sure lots of for sale signs go up when the mud freezes over and is covered with snow.
