We just voted. Very busy. That is great to see people out voting.

Can't complain if you don't vote.

Voting tonite after several stiff shots.... I never knew you could "decline" a vote as well..... When they hand you your ballot, you can hand it back and say "i decline" and it goes in as a "declined" vote.... I guess to show displeasure with the candidates? It was fairly common years ago....

A useful comparison between the position of each party's stance on the main issues:

Purposely spoiling a ballet will send the same message. For example-dawing a line through all the boxes would indicate that you wanted to vote but did not care for any of the candidates. This sends a strong message also. I encourage people to do this rather than not bother to vote at all.

Who sees/counts/cares about spoiled ballots?
I've never heard of such a thing or ever read what the spoiled ballot count was?
It would be a great way to get your point across IF anyone ever noticed.

Upon reflection... declining a vote would send a more appropriate message as a spoiled vote could be assumed that the voter made a mistake and their intentions were not clearly expressed.

All spoiled ballets are included and reported as such-spoiled. If enough ballets were intentionally spoiled, that would definetly send a message.
