Has anyone seen the voter turnout numbers? The Dunvegan riding has over 57% turnout and they aren't done counting yet, Albertan's got involved on this one.

It appears that I was not the only one completely pissed off with the PC's. I do hope that Ms. Notley realizes that she was the benefactor of anti-pc sentiment and not that we all love every detail of her platform. Guess we get to find out. Prentice is the provincial Kim Campbell. She did OK after and so will he. Federally the Conservatives are back and provincially they will be again. In the meantime, the only thing I enjoy with orange crush is vodka.

No, I am certain that the NDP will ascertain that Albertans agreed with 100% of their platforms, and will proceed as such. Already looking at real estate elsewhere.

Maybe the billionaires are excited? Might not cost as much to corrupt and bribe all the college ndp candidates as the greedy PC's....

Ha ha. Our MLA is Estafania Cortes-Vargas who is 24 or so and a university student (hopefully finished her undergraduate degree). This should be an interesting term. The good news is that Alberta has a pretty good civil service. I am sure they will slow or stop the ridiculous ideas (please). Listening to Notley speech last night she sounds like she gets it.

I think we'll be able to discern a lot from who she selects into her cabinet positions. She's a pretty smart lady, I'm thinking she's gonna choose a few somewhat experienced members into the key positions .
But reality is the new ones could probably spend a couple years making mistakes while learning and still not waste as many $$$ as the long time "experienced" PC's gave away to their buddies or took for themselves cause they deserved it. I'm really glad the Wildrose is the opposition, that will certainly help.
