We've been riding the trails around Whitecourt for the last couple of days and they are in excellent condition. Just about every trail has been groomed recently. It was +7 C though when we got back to the trucks this afternoon. Kudos to the Trailblazers for the awesome job in this area.

Rode closer to fox creek today. Cut lines are waist deep Open areas still over the knee. Snow took a beating today in the heat.

A few of us are going to head up that way on Sunday.
If anyone else is interested.

Meeting at 8am at the highway 43 Esso in Gunn.
Not sure yet if we are riding Whitecourt. Fox Creek or Swan Hills. Decide then I guess.

If you do decide to join us. Please leave the booze at home.

Went thru there yesterday. Swan hills by far had the best snow.

Wasn't much.
Enough that we still got decent cooling on the sliders but it's fairly hard packed and tracked out.

Rode Carson trail to the cabin. Then went up to location "N" on the triangle.
Spun around and back to the cabin.
We were only tracks leading towards swan hills.
Rc's were out. Had lunch with them at the cabin. Then on to the look out.

Good for wife or kids as far as trail conditions.
Anything over 2" for lugs you'll want scratchers.

trails to Tom Hill-Edson cabin and Shiningbank lookout just groomed today. Great snow! And it is April 4. Better ride it while we have it!

Hi. Thanks for the update 4 family’s coming up Saturday for the last ride of the year. Where is the best place to locate a map ? Been 20 years since we were riding that area. Just remember the staging area at the bottom of the big hill on the way to Carson lake. Is that where u still stage and if so. Head.North to the beat snow?

Thanks
